How to Make Product Video Ads in Claude

Ege Alp·

You can now make a product video ad without leaving Claude. Add TalkPix as a custom connector, attach a photo of your product and ask for an ad. Claude writes the script, picks a presenter, tells you the price in TalkPix credits and starts the video only after you say yes. The finished ad plays right in the chat and is saved in your TalkPix library.

This guide covers the setup, what to ask for, and exactly how pricing, approval and your budget work.

What the TalkPix connector does in Claude

TalkPix turns a product photo into a talking-presenter video ad: a person on screen holds up your product and speaks a short script about it. Until now you made those on the site, in the product video ad generator. The connector gives Claude the same tools, so the whole job happens in one conversation:

  • You attach a product photo and describe who you are selling to.
  • Claude writes the script. It follows the structure that works for short ads: a hook, the product name, one real benefit, and a call to action.
  • Claude picks a presenter. The four presenters are Aria, Stella, Marcus and Hugo. Name one if you have a preference.
  • Claude quotes the price as a credit range plus your current balance, and waits.
  • You say yes, the video renders, and it plays inside the chat.

TalkPix is not listed in Claude's connector directory. You add it yourself as a custom connector with one URL, which takes about two minutes.

How to set it up, step by step

1. Have TalkPix credits

Videos made from Claude use the credits in your TalkPix account, at the same prices as on the site. Credits are pay as you go and never expire. Check the packs on the pricing page if you need some.

2. Add the connector

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Name it TalkPix and paste this URL:

https://www.talkpix.ai/api/mcp

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector, so if you already use one there, you would swap it for TalkPix.

3. Sign in and connect

Press Connect next to TalkPix. Claude opens a TalkPix window: sign in, read what Claude will be allowed to do, and press Connect.

4. Let Claude pass your photos

So Claude can send a photo you attach in the chat to TalkPix, add www.talkpix.ai to the allowed domains for code execution in Settings → Capabilities. Without it, Claude opens a small TalkPix window where you pick the photo instead.

5. Set a budget

On TalkPix, under Connected assistants, choose how many credits Claude may start per video and per day. Without a budget, you confirm each video on TalkPix. The full walkthrough, with screenshots of each screen, is on the TalkPix in Claude setup page.

What you can ask for

Talk to Claude the way you would brief a freelancer. Give it the product, the audience and the platform, and let it handle the script. A few prompts that work:

  • "Make a TikTok ad for this backpack with Aria. It's lightweight, waterproof and has a laptop sleeve. For university students."
  • "Three Instagram Reels ads for this serum, each with a different hook. Presenter: Stella."
  • "Write a 15-second ad for this coffee grinder for home baristas, then make it with Marcus."
  • "Make a Turkish product ad for this phone case with Hugo."
  • "An 8-second vertical video of a coffee cup on a rainy window sill, slow camera push-in."
  • "How many credits do I have left, and what did my last video cost?"

Here is a real script Claude wrote on 2 November 2026 from a backpack photo and a one-line brief:

"Campus bag hunt over. The Everyday Backpack is feather-light, waterproof, and has a padded laptop sleeve, so rainy walks to class won't wreck your tech. Grab yours before the semester rush!"

That is the hook, the product name, a concrete benefit and a call to action, in one breath. If you want a different angle, say so before you approve. Changing the script costs nothing until a render starts.

AI videos, not only presenter ads

The connector also reaches two AI video models, Seedance 2.5 and P-Video 2 Pro. Use them for scene shots without a presenter, like the rainy window sill prompt above. Claude quotes those the same way before anything starts.

Turkish product ads

Ask for the ad in Turkish and Claude writes the script in Turkish; the presenter speaks it. It is the same flow as an English ad.

How the price, approval and budget work

This is the part worth reading twice, because it is what keeps an assistant from spending money you did not mean to spend.

Claude quotes a range, and the top is a ceiling

Before a render, Claude tells you the cost as a range, for example "15–18 credits, never more than 18", together with your balance. TalkPix bills per rendered second, so the exact length decides where in the range you land. The top of the range is a hard ceiling: the video cannot charge more than that number.

Nothing starts without your yes

Claude waits for you to agree in the chat. If you change the script, the presenter or the length, it quotes again.

Your budget caps everything

The per-video and per-day budget you set on TalkPix applies to every request Claude makes. Anything above it is not started from the chat; it needs your confirmation on TalkPix itself. You can change the budget, switch it off, or disconnect Claude at any time.

Claude never sees your card

Credits are bought on TalkPix. Claude only sees your balance and your videos. All the ad pricing details are on the pricing page.

Where your videos end up

The finished video plays inside the Claude chat. It is also saved to your TalkPix library, so you can download it, share it or remake it later from the site. If you want to keep producing ads for one store, the Shopify video ad generator and the TikTok Shop video generator pages show what those formats look like.

Frequently asked questions

Is TalkPix in the official Claude connector directory?

No. TalkPix is added as a custom connector. You paste the TalkPix connector URL under Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and sign in to your TalkPix account.

Which Claude plans can use the TalkPix connector?

Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it and each member connects their own TalkPix account.

Can Claude spend my credits without asking?

No. Claude tells you the price first and starts only after you agree. It can never go past the per-video and per-day budget you set on TalkPix, and anything above it needs your confirmation on TalkPix.

How much does a video ad made in Claude cost?

It costs the same credits as the same video made on the TalkPix site. Claude quotes a range before each render, and the top of that range is the most you can be charged for that video.

Do I get a video without paying?

No. Every video is paid with TalkPix credits before it renders. Credits are pay as you go, with no subscription required, and purchased credits never expire.

How do I disconnect Claude from TalkPix?

Remove TalkPix in Claude under Settings, then Connectors, or press Disconnect on TalkPix under Connected assistants. Either one stops Claude from reaching your account.
