Privacy Policy

TalkPix is a trading name of CAR DETAILS CO LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 14706106), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. That company is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email support@talkpix.ai.

TalkPix works by animating a photograph, so most uploads are a photograph of a person’s face. Some laws treat facial images processed by software as a sensitive or biometric category, so we are explicit about how ours are handled.

• We use an uploaded photo only to produce the output you asked for, and to run the safety checks described in our Terms.
• We do not build a faceprint or face-geometry template, do not run face recognition, and do not attempt to identify, match, or verify anyone from a photo.
• We do not use your photos or generated videos to train AI models, and we do not sell them or share them for advertising.
• Photos and generated videos are deleted automatically 30 days after they are created, and sooner if you ask.

You must have the right to upload the face you upload — your own, or someone who has given you their consent. That obligation is part of the Terms, and it is the legal basis on which we process the image on your behalf. If you believe a photo of you has been uploaded without your permission, email support@talkpix.ai and we will remove it.

• Account data: your email address and basic profile. You can create an account with Google sign-in, with an email address and a password, or with an emailed sign-in link — we receive your email address either way, and passwords are stored only as hashes by our authentication provider, never in readable form by us.
• Content you submit: everything you upload or type into a studio — portrait and pet photos, product photos, logos and brand assets, scripts and prompts, uploaded or recorded audio, and the voice sample you provide if you use voice cloning — together with the images, videos, songs, and captions we generate for you.
• Voice clone data: if you clone a voice, we store the sample you uploaded and a voice identifier returned by the model provider, so the cloned voice can be reused across your videos until you delete it.
• Payment data: card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe; where offered, cryptocurrency payments are processed by Cryptomus. We never see or store your full card number or your wallet keys. We do store the records we need to run your account: your Stripe customer identifier, a reference to a saved payment method when you turn on auto-refill or a membership, your membership status and renewal dates, the packs and amounts you purchased, your credit balance and credit ledger, and the payment-provider webhook events behind them.
• Support and reports: messages you send us, support tickets, and reports submitted about publicly shared content.
• Usage & ad data: basic analytics, funnel events describing which steps you reached, and advertising identifiers (such as Google gclid, UTM parameters, and click identifiers from other ad platforms) so we can understand how people find and use TalkPix.

We use your data only to:

• Generate the videos you request and let you access your results.
• Process payments and maintain your credit balance.
• Operate, secure, and improve the service, and measure our advertising.
• Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal data or use your uploaded photos, audio, scripts, or generated media to train AI models.

We share data with the providers that run TalkPix, only as needed to deliver the service:

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of your uploads and generated videos.
• Replicate — runs every AI model we use, including the talking-avatar, video, image, voice-cloning, and music models. The inputs for a generation, and the voice sample if you clone a voice, are sent to Replicate and to the model owner running on it.
• Stripe — card and wallet payment processing, saved payment methods, memberships, and the billing portal.
• Cryptomus — where offered, cryptocurrency payment processing. It receives the order amount and our internal order reference; it does not receive your uploads or generated media.
• Resend — sends our transactional and account emails (receipts, sign-in, reminders), and therefore receives your email address.
• Vercel and Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and protection against abuse.
• Google — sign-in, analytics, and ad measurement.
• Advertising and review platforms — where those campaigns are running, we send conversion measurement to the relevant ad platform, and we may pass your email address to Trustpilot to invite a review. These receive account and purchase signals, never your uploads or generated media.

International transfers. These providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, those transfers rely on the standard contractual protections offered in each provider’s data processing terms.

Generation inputs and outputs from the video and image studios — the photos you upload and the videos and product or AI images we render — are automatically deleted 30 days after they are created by a daily sweep.

Saved libraries are the exception, on purpose. Things you deliberately save for reuse are not on that timer, because deleting them out from under you would break the feature. These are kept until you delete them, or ask us to:

• cloned voices — the sample you uploaded and the provider’s voice identifier — until you delete the cloned voice;
• audio saved to your library, including generated songs and their cover art, until you delete the item;
• AI Influencer identity portraits and scene assets, until you delete the asset or the influencer profile.

Account, credit-ledger, and transaction records are kept as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. A result you chose to publish stays reachable at its share link until you make it private again or we remove it.

You can request deletion of your content or your account at any time by emailing support@talkpix.ai. We will action verified requests promptly.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@talkpix.ai.

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions and for Google Analytics, which tells us how many people visit and which pages they use.

We are not running advertising campaigns, so the site currently loads no Meta (Facebook) pixel and sets no Meta advertising cookie. If we advertise again we will say so here before the tracking is switched back on.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect sign-in.
