Pick of the week: official rules

The pick of the week is run by TalkPix, the operator named in our Terms of Use. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of the pick of the week and are not involved in it in any way. Nor is Meta or Instagram.

Each week (Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, UTC) TalkPix may choose one video shown on TalkPix Explore as the pick of the week. Its maker receives 100 TalkPix credits. It is a contest judged on merit, not a draw: no winner is chosen at random.

• Offer a video you made with TalkPix to Explore with “Share on TalkPix” on the video’s page. A person at TalkPix reviews every video before it appears on Explore; only approved videos can be picked.
• On the website you can also tag @talkpixai and #talkpix on Instagram so we see it; the video still has to be approved for Explore to be picked.
• There is no entry fee: offering a video to Explore is free, and buying credits does not improve your chances.

• You must be 18 or older and hold a TalkPix account in good standing.
• The video must have been made by you with TalkPix, follow our Terms, and use only photos and voices you have the right to use, with the agreement of everyone shown.
• TalkPix staff cannot win. The contest is void where the law prohibits it.

The TalkPix team chooses the pick on creativity, originality, quality and how well it fits Explore. A video can be picked once. TalkPix may skip a week when no video is eligible, and its decision is final.

• 100 TalkPix credits, added to the winner’s account balance. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money; the credit terms in our Terms apply to them.
• We tell the winner by email at the address on the account, and the video is marked as the pick on Explore. No other personal data is collected or published.

We may change or end the pick of the week by updating this page; a change never affects a week that has already started. Questions: support@talkpix.ai.
