TalkPix

Talking videos, programmatically

The rendering pipeline behind TalkPix — talking photos and UGC-style product ads — is coming to a keyed HTTP API. We are opening it to a small group of early-access partners first. Tell us what you'd build and how many videos a month you need.

Include your use case and expected monthly volume — replies within a few days.

Talking-photo renders

POST a photo and a script; receive an HD MP4 with realistic lip-sync — the same pipeline behind the TalkPix studios.

Product-ad generation

One product image in, a captioned UGC-style presenter ad out — built for stores and apps generating creatives at volume.

Webhook completion

Jobs run async: create a render, get a job id, receive a signed webhook (or poll) when the MP4 is ready.

Metered, prepaid billing

Its own prepaid credit pool, billed per rendered second — a separate product line from the web app's packs.

Same rules as the app

Prepaid credits, payment before every render, automatic refunds on failed generations, and commercial use included. The API is a separate product line — web-app pack credits keep their never-expire promise, unchanged.

Common questions

Is the API live today?

Not yet — it's in early access. The pipeline behind it runs TalkPix in production today; the keyed HTTP interface is being rolled out with early-access partners first.

What will it cost?

Metered per rendered second on a prepaid API credit pool, with a small minimum top-up. Exact rates are being finalized with early-access partners — tell us your expected monthly volume and we'll share current numbers.

Does anything render before payment?

No. Same principle as the app: credits are prepaid and every render is paid before it starts. Failed renders are refunded automatically.

Is this the same as my TalkPix account credits?

No — the API is a separate product line with its own credit pool and terms. Web-app pack credits keep their never-expire promise, unchanged.
